About Me

I am a genealogist and avid researcher of all things ancestry. I specialize in American lineages, especially those from the Mayflower arrival to the 1940’s. Before the internet, I was able to track down my dad’s birth family. Now that we have technology on our side, there is a plethora of information available at our fingertips, and more so for genealogists like myself who have access to private databases, newspaper archives, and more.

Some of my work has included tracing lines back to the Mayflower, uncovering lineages to American Revolutionary War Soldiers, Civil War Soldiers, and even found famous people in family trees (I have an accused Salem Witch in my lineage and I’m loosely related to Laura Ingells Wilder, writer of Little House on the Prairie).

I am a member of the following genealogy societies:

  • Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR)

  • United States Daughters of 1812

  • Contra Costa Genealogical Society (CCCGS)

  • Working on my Mayflower Society application (CMS)

  • Working on my Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars (CSDIW)
